Diwrnod Shwmae - a day to celebrate Welsh language - 15th October

Get ready for 15th October and Diwrnod Shwmae - this is a day when everyone in Wales is asked to start any conversation with the word Shwmae, to promote the use of the Welsh language.

Start practising with your families, friends and neighbours so you can enter into the spirit of this special celebration of the Welsh language together. Click on the file below to find a range of  fantastic posters to get you started.

On Shwmae day upload videos of yourself, or others at home, using Welsh language. Upload recordings onto your personal Seesaw account to earn extra Dojo points.

Let's get Wales talking together in Welsh. Gadael i Gymru siarad gyda'i gilydd yn Gymraeg.  Wear the colour of our national emblem the daffodil - be proud, be Welsh!
