A huge, warm welcome to Westwood CP School. 

This first half term will be spent, getting to know your child through play opportunities and baseline assessments. We will be helping to familiarise the children with the daily routines, introducing our important 'STARS' Rules and supporting them to make new friends. 

Hopefully you will all be in receipt of your child's seesaw code and have logged on to their journal. We look forward to sharing your child's learning experiences with you and we welcome you to acknowldge receipt of this by adding a like or a comment.

PE will start next half term to allow time for the children to settle within class before going in to the open space of the hall. Please be rest assured that they will have plenty of physical activity both indoors and outdoors in the first half-term. 

Polite reminder- Children should bring in a healthy snack clearly labelled with their name and a drink of water. Milk will be offered to those children who can have milk.
