Rowan Class- Mrs Ryan 2021 - 2022

Mrs Ryan

Welcome to our Nursery class page

I want to start by saying a huge welcome to you all!

We have had a great week in Nursery so far and the children have been a delight. We are looking forward to our adventures beginning and I just know that we are going to have lots of fun this year!

Welly Wednesday

Welly Wednesday will begin next Wednesday (15th September) and each Wednesday after that. Children should come to school in appropriate clothing for the outdoor environment and we will enjoy a range of outdoor activities.

You should receive your invite to your child's seesaw journal on Friday 10th September. This will allow you to connect to your child's learning journal where we can share all of the wonderful learning that will happen throughout the year. It is also a great way for us to communicate with you and for you to communicate with us.

We will spend the first few weeks settling the Nursery children  and developing routines to ensure that they feel happy and secure. Although we will enjoy lots of physical activities and begin to develop gross and fine motor skills, we will not start PE sessions straight away. You will informed when our PE sessions are going to start and they will be every Friday. Children will be able to come to scool wearing their PE kits.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to get in touch. You can catch me during drop and pick ups or alternatively you can contact teh school office and I will do my very best to answer and questions you may have.

I look forward to developing a partnership with you all throughout the year and appreciate your support.

What's Being Said?

"I never thought that Westwood was so large inside! From the road, it seems so small. What a wonderful use of space. The school has changed so much over the years!" - recent visitor to school
